What are your prescribed paying methods on ebay?

Honestly, I only accept two forms of payment: Paypal: Because it's online, it's quick, its easy and very reliable. United States Postal Money Order: The reason for accepting this one is because it is basically the same as cash. You can walk into any post office and cash it on the spot. I stay away from all other forms of payment, including checks and other money orders because it's easy to fake them. The only other option if you do decide to take these payments, is to wait until the check clears or you cash the money order before sending out the item you are selling. I look at it this way, if somebody wants my item, they will comply with my payment options. It's as simple as that and honestly I don't like shipping things to other countries because it's expensive and the mail is unreliable.

It also depends on a few other factors, like how easy you want to make it for your buyers to scam you and defraud you of your hard earned cash if you are a seller. There are various other payment methods for online payments which can be chosen but it all relies on the sellers and buyers agreing to both use them.
