Spenilli - here's one to mull over!

Facts: Spenilli has a father out there. Who is it?Fact: Now this old woman has befriend Michael, who is she?
Fact: Word has it, When he finds out who, Spenilli doesn't want anyone to know who his father is. Jason keeps the secret. Why, what's up?
Fact: Kate muttered the name "Olivia" as she wakes up after the surgery. Who's Olivia?
Fact: Sonny and Kate keep trying to hook up, he asked her to marry him. She turned him down. But she isn't oging anywhere so what will keep them together?
Spenilli is early 20's of age. It was about give or take 20 years ago when Kate didn't meet Sonny and they never saw each other again. As anything canhappen in Soap Opera World, how about this... Kate found out she was pregnant. Didn't tell SOnny as she knew he'd want to keep the baby, and in keeping the baby she'd have to give up her coveted life in the magazine world or maybe her parents made her do it cause she was to young to keep the baby.
So she put the baby up for adoption, gave the baby a fictious name in her mind and life went on. Well, now, a new storyline is needed so life is turned upside down!! What if Spenilli is really Sonny and Kates love child, and Kate just thought it was a girl or someone like her parents told her it was to throw her off the track when really it was a boy. IF Spenillie doesnt' want his father to know about him, Sonny would sure fit that bill!

It is possible. I said in another post a couple days ago, that Sonny treats Spinelli like a pain and seems to dislike him so, Spinelli wouldn't want Sonny to know because he knows the Sonny doesn't really care for him and it might make things worse for him.

I think that is exactly why he asks jason to keep it secret. Spenilli knows that Sonny doesn't like him, treats him like crap and has no resepct for him at all. And then if it is revealed and Sonny suddenly "Likes" his new son, what's that say about sonny? He doesn't like anyone that isn't his own off-spring? Well, granted, that is starting to be all of Port Charles, but we'll leave a little margin for error there! I personally would not tell if it were me. Knowing my father treats people like that, and then once he knows, he "takes it all back"? Not anyone I'd care to be related to!

That's a far reach, but who knows. I think you should be writing the story for this show. You sure would make it more interesting than it already is.
I didn't much like yesterdays show, where the water front building blew up and they showed Carly playing pool with Jason. I thought, now what, where are they going with this, is Carly the bad guy now. But then they showed her going back to life and that it was just a dream state. Well, I thought that was a bit too weird. Where do these writers come up with this stuff.

I remember asking this very question a bit ago. I too was thinking that Sonny would make a great choice because of his disdain for the poor Jackal.
Jason loves Spinelli like a wacky little brother. Not like he loves Sonny, as a person who saved him so many years ago.
If it is Trevor, Jason will have to keep the secret to protect Spinelli as Sonny's enemy.

Yeah, I think that is nice that Jason took in Spenilli like, as you said, his wacky little brother! And just cause sonny gave Jasona job all those years ago, lord have mercy he has repaid that debt time and time again, over and over again. I think it'd be horrible of Sonny if he holds that over Jasons head after all these years. Yeah, it still could be Trevor - can't stand taht character! Or....how about another Zacarra? I wouldn't want to do that to Spenillie tho! Dont' ruin the character!

This is a very interesting question, coffeebreak. I am really up in the air about it all, actually. What you are saying makes perfect sense, maybe I am just fighting it too hard in my mind, because I just don't really want Sonny to be Spinelli's daddy. Sonny has enough kids and as evidenced by his words to Mikey, he doesn't KNOW how to be a parent. But yes, it makes sense that Kate may have been pregnant all of those years ago,. There is a spoiler that says Kate will soon learn how precious family is, or words to that effect, so I am guessing we will learn how Olivia plays into this. Personally I don't think Olicia was her baby, but maybe who adopted it or took care of the situation....

yeah, that could be. Although I don't want Sonny to be the daddy either - for just as you said, I think somehow Spenillie finds out Sonny and Kate are his parents, and tells Jason as he is looking for help to deal with it and Jason is his only friend. He will swear Jason to secrecy. Then something will happen to either Kate or Sonny and some kind of medical match will be necessary and Spenillie will step up to the plate like the good guy he is and all will be revealed. Should be interesting! I just like SPenilli - he brings such a wonderful and much needed breath of fresh air and whimsey and comedy to the show!

Hmmm. This is a very interesting idea. I'm trying to think of who else it could be. The only other people I can think of the Spinelli would want to keep a secret would be Trevor, or maybe Alcazar. Sonny is a very real possibility. But, would Jason keep that secret from Sonny? That would be a pretty big betrayal, or at least Sonny would think so. He hasn't done much to deserve loyalty lately, but that doesn't stop him from feeling entitled. We will see. Hopefully this will come out soon.
