I am the mother of 3 grown children and went back to college. I graduate in December with my Bachelor's degree. How old do you think is too old to return to college?

I am proud to hear you are going back to school. I started back to school at age 29 with three children. About 7 months ago i reaped the benefits and got myself a job with the education that i had worked so hard at. I am now a chemical technologist in a refinery. the only place to go now is up. Keep up the good work and be persistent. If you fail a course take it again. dont ever quit. it will be worth it in the end. that is what everyone said to me. ....and they were right.

Congratulations on return to do and completing your Bachelor's degree because I am sure that it wouldn't have been the easiest thing you have done. I think a person is never too old to go to College or University and in fact believe that education is an ongoing process throughout our whole lives.

it's never too late to educate. As long as you are alive you can still further your education and make your life better.

Congratulations! It's NEVER too late! I got my bachelor's at 28 and my master's at 35. My mom got her doctorate in her late 40s. I think lifelong learning is what helps to keep you young! Congrats again!

No one is ever to old to do anything. I guess the question should be how young is to young because to me adults know what they want and they go after it. Youngsters are just going to be going and they don't really care. I believe as long as you are doing what you want to do then do it age is just a number! Congradulations!!!!

I don't think any age is too old to go to college. My mom is still going to college just because she loves to learn. She's in her 60's. As long as you are still able to retain the knowlege that is being passed to you, you're not too old to go. That's my opinion.

I don't think there is such a thing as being too old. It's never too late to go back or start college. There are 80-some year olds graduating from college and some even high school. Plus with more colleges making their degrees available online, getting an education becomes more convenient for people(such as yourself, any busy parent, etc.) looking to further their education. :)

It is never too old! My mother is retiring from her job of 25+ years soon, and she's already taking some courses in animal care. She plans to attend a local college part-time, and take other courses through distance studies or online. Even if she never starts a career in animal care, she will have all the knowledge she needs for her own pets, and she will be better-off for learning something-anything-new! Knowledge is power! Don't ever forget that or let anyone discourage you!

I dont ever think it is too late to go to school... Education is what keeps our society and coutry advancing.. Without people going back to school we would never make advancements or get better
