How you show love for your child?

How do you show your child that you love him?
Warm hugs when he wakes up in this morning?
A constant shower of ' i love you ?
Of course this is wonderful act but you should understand that expression
of love also comes when you full fit your child's basic needs. Not only food
and shelter, but his need for security, self-worth and significance. So express your
love for child by nurturing her sense of security, self-worth and significance.

Well, my kids are now grown with kids of their own on the way. But, they got lots of hugging and "I love yous", in addition to firm rules that were enforced, constant communication, healthy meals (most of the time) and a secure place to live.
Today they're in their 20's and never leave my house without making sure they give me a hug - and now their wives are hugging me too. IN addition, every phone call ends with "I love you". And, I make them cookies and mail them frequently.
