Deep freezer vs fridge freezer.

So how many people own a deep freezer? Or do you just use your fridge freezer? I have two big deep freezers and they are both about 3/4 fulls. I buy things when they are on sale and I stock up and put most of it in one of my freezers. In the long run I think it is cheaper do shop this way, although at the initial time it costs more. I only do this when there is a big sale on. I only put things like my ice cream and juices in my fridge freezer, so I have to go down stairs lots to get other things out of the big deep freezers. But that's okay, since I have saved a lot of money by buying in bulk or when things are on sale.

I have one large deep freezer and I keep it full. I also keep my fridge freezer full and the fridge in the garage freezer is full too. I like to stock up when things are on sale too.

My freezers get full in the fall, when I pick all the food in my garden, I freeze a lot of it.

I have a stand up freezer in my laundry room which is right off of the kitchen. I keep it pretty full. I asked my husband if I could get a smaller chest freezer to put in the shed this summer because last summer there was no room for meat because of all of the vegetables that I had grown in the garden. I do the same as you. I buy in bulk and then break it down into smaller portions in order to save money.
