I do that all the time, I remember when I was younger and the phone would ring my mom would get all excited and run to answer it like the president was on the other line and she didn't want to keep him waiting. Now that I have my own home and family I rarely run for the phone, I let the answering machine get it or if it's my cell I will just let it go to voice mail. I really don't care how many times it rings that doesn't bother me sometimes I just don't want to talk to anyone I just want to hide in my room and watch tv or read. Sometimes I will even turn off my cell and turn the ringer off on the phone so I never have to hear it ring for an entire day it's very nice not to hear a ringing phone sometimes. SOOO peaceful.
