whats wrong with my laptop

I bought a laptop few months ago and it came with 3 months free Norton Internet Security program. Last months we had a chance to get 1year subscription for McAfee for free, so before i installed it i uninstalled old Norton Internet but,my computer doesn`t want to take McAfee, it kept on crashing down, coming with blue screen, i tried like 5 times and even friend of mine who understands computers couldn`t help. Do you think that maybe when i bought computer with already installed Norton, that somehow i can`t uninstall it completely?

I can't say for sure. But a better program is SuperAntiSpyware Pro. It will catch many other forms of spyware/viruses than either of the two programs mentioned above. The professional version is free to try for 30 days. Please see the link below for downloading.

Norton and McAfee both suck. That's just a sad fact. Both can be very difficult to remove from your computer. Norton is so bad that they've created a special tool to remove their crappy software. Download it here and good luck.
