isnt that surely the paradox of belief, to believe is to split or fracture the whole?

If you transcend one, you are fragmented again - it's an illusion. How can there be separation when in reality, all it one? One is one, not more - transcendence of one cannot be. As humans we believe we do it in our finite minds, and that belief is born of ego that will maintain separateness at every opportunity trying to convince us that we are separate from what we deem lower or higher - this is the illusory world of opposites. Opposition separates.. Just something to ponder - don't believe as word I say or you will just form another belief in separation... LOL :-)

No I haven't read this particular book, but I did start reading some years ago a book that was from a series of books, think called Life & Teaching of the Masters of The Far East(5 Volumes)
by Baird T Spalding...It kind of hit on the same idea that spiritual avatars or masters like Buddha and Christ are still very much around us. The author involved was kind of a skeptic but decided to go on this "spiritual" journey to Tibet...and there he did indeed meet Christ in physical form...I don't even know if I have those books still (I have A LOT of books)--but yes, it's of course very possible that the masters are watching us

I really felt a great sense of peace when i read this book, a sense like the first time i walked in the valley of the kings in Egypt, it was spiritual.

I like the concept of moving on somewhere, but the thought that I might have to spend eternity watching this squalid little World doesn't float my boat at all. However, all that sort of stuff has an appeal for me so I shall look out for it, Is it still in print?
