It is Chinese traditional medical method.I haven't had accpuncture befor but I watched a TV program introducing that. The professional doctor put lots of silver niddles inside the head of the patient and turn the niddles around. It seems very painful but the patient said no. I don't have the guts to try that.

Yes, and I would have it weekly if I could. I had a very stressful job, was tired all the time, sometimes muscle pain, and swollen ankles. I wore my underwear during treatments. The needles just pinch a little when inserted, heard smoothing Asian music, and relaxed. Then acupuncturist came in to massage a little where the needles were pulled out (no pain) and massage those areas that I needed that visit, e.g. ankles or head for headaches. Felt so-o much better after each visit.

I have never had an accupuncture before but if I'd have an opportunity to 'experience' such a procedure, I guess I'd love to try it. Some people that I know have tried it and they said it's fine - relaxing and never painful, they said. I've also seen much of accupuncture on TV [from health shows and documentaries] and I believe that through the years, this procedure have proved it's worth in helping the ill...

I had acupuncture done when I was trying everything to avoid having surgery on my back. My primary physician suggested it since all other options had been exhausted. It was very relaxing, but, unfortunately it didn't do anything for the pain. My muscles had become slightly toxic so although the initial insertion of the needles was painless, once he tried to tap them down some, it hurt a little, but I said something and he stopped. For other problems, I would try it again.
