I absolutely love the Dodge Charger... love it!!! But here comes the question... Would you rather drive a top-of-the-line newer model Charger or would you like to venture back and strap into the seat of a 1969 Dodge Charger equipped with a Hemi 440 6-pack? No doubt in my mind that I would rather do the latter of the two choices...

Dear mainevent0523, i have a Dodge charger 1969 383, a dodge Coronet Convertible 1969, a mustang 1970 427, Porsche targa 911 1972, Barracuda 1968 and a few more classic cars and i can tell you something: The feeling of driving such muscle cars are the best. And the people looks at you thousands times more in a Legendary Charger 1969 than a new model, why? Because everyone with money can get a new model, but get a classic car needs more than that. regards!!

Dude, I envy you and you are so right about the looks you can get. I wouldn't take 3 new Chryslers right now before I would take one Cuda or a Road Runner. People may call me crazy but if I had a choice of taking three new ones or one Mopar Muscle in good shape, just load the 3 back on the truck and me and my older Mopar, we are out of here. We got to go play awhile.

I have always wanted an older Mopar Muscle. That would be my choice. Just yesterday I was riding down the road and I spotted two older Mopars in the same small town. One was a 69 or 70 Plymouth Road Runner or a GTX and the other was a late 60s or early 70s Dodge Charger RT. Both were sharp and sounded good. As for todays modle of Chrysler vehicles, you couldn't give me one of them. We had an Intrepid that was the biggest piece of junk I ever bought and I swore off of any new Chryslers. But the older ones, you bet I would.
