Okay I just got the idea to declare it the weekend. Yes. I, Theprogamer, declare it to be the weekend. You can even tell your workplaces. If they give you any trouble, tell them "Cause Pro said so". So everyone...HAVE FUN! I'm going to do just that. Just relax, do more fun and casual mylotting. Relax with a nice cup of tea (or two or three). Put on my playlist and have the volume on 110%. A bath sounds nice too... :) I might even stay up a bit longer. Heck, I did it yesterday and Monday, whats another day? Yes I have work in the morning, but as always I still arrived 30 minutes or so early. Plus... I just feel like it. Weekend on Wednesday! To make this a discussion...I'm going to evoke an old favorite... LIVE!!! From the HyperAstra Spacelab and Complex, hovering in the skies somewhere in the Southwest, while somehow floating in the Atlantic Ocean, and also cruising past the night terminator, its Pro's Free-for-All Weekend!! YEA!!! And yes the same "rules" apply. Just have fun with this thread, post about your week, or just be silly. Remember, I may "hijack" your response and it'll be about something else, like pancakes :D Have fun! I wish you a great week, a nice weekend, and the strength to get through what is currently going on.

What a great idea midweek weekend it is! Yesterday was a great day , I got lots of things done however it takes a lot of energy so I welcome a break for today. Especially since I have already been very productive this morning. Unfortunately though it is not really very interesting just washing and other mundane household chores. Not all bad though Z (my daughter) and I had a great time playing under the sprinklers as well as making our balcony rabbit friendly (we a pet sitting a friends rabbit) Perhaps after a wee break I can come back with some slightly more exciting! :)

Well coming back after a break to be a bit more exciting..., it may work it may not. I got tied up in real life once again. This time it was due to a new game being out (yes I know... but I have to have my fun, rare as it is). Unfortunately for me, I don't have much to talk about in terms of "excite-o-factor". I'll have to think on it!

hmmm, well it was slightly longer than a wee break and I still don't have much excitement going on. Got caught up relaxing I guess. Good on you for gaming, I would to if I had the chance!

I would, but I have to get my son off to school, so sorry, it will have to wait until the real weekend.. (Am I being a party pooper? lol)

Carmel... Yes you are being a party pooper. Oh wait, no you are not! I'm still doing my weekend thing! Now here's something I know a few people have been waiting for. **Response HIJACKED!!!** This response and responses below it are now how to relax. What's really the best way to relax? Favorite chair? Laying in bed? Recliner?

Dancing is how I relax, and then a bath with candlelight comes in second...:)

Hello dear theprogramer. I agree with you that any workday in the week can be called to be a 'weekend', especially when you are not in the mood because of something unpleasant and vice versa happens to you. Today is my weekend, but it is just that natural for us both students and teachers to have our day off. We have already worked twelve days straight before we have our four days off. We work when others are enjoying their weekends and we rest while others are having their busy work. Sounds weird, huh? Yeah, that is our schedule as our boarding students come from different parts of the country and we have to have our schedule special to us. lol.

I remember days like that. Sometimes I had little or no weekend. Other times I'd have the longest weekends (5 days :D). Doesn't sound weird at all. I'm also thinking of having this version of weekend (weekend on wednesday) every once in awhile too. Seems lively and well worth it.

Both of my Thursday classes were canceled, so tonight I'm celebrating. Classes on Friday sadly aren't canceled. But it feels like a weekend before spring break week.

Wow, like this discussion was designed with you in mind maybe. Your situation also gave me another discussion idea, but I'll wait for this one to get off the ground a bit.
