Anyone going on vacation soon? And where?

ME! ME!.. I normally travel twice a year for a period of more than a week. In another 2 weeks time, to be precised on 16 March, I will driving up north to Hatyai, Southern Thailand. Our plan is to take off in the afternoon at about 3pm from the eastern part of Singapore. We will drive pass several state in Malaysia. First we have to passby Johor, follow by part of Selangor, than back to the highway towards Ipoh Perak. We will then overnite at Perak. Will depart again in the morning to Hatyai via Kedah, another state of Malaysia. Thailand borders only open from 6 am to 10 pm everyday. We have to arrange for insurance and permits for our cars in order to drive in Thailand. We will be staying there for 2 nites and I had made arrangement for the hotels. I cant wait to savour Thai food there. On the way back, we will stay a nite in Kedah. Kedah is a state where Malaysia main rice is being produce. Then further, we will be doing a homestay in Sabak Bernam, Selangor. The place that we intend to stay belongs to my Cousin daughters. She reared 300 cow, a fishing farm and also grow mushroom commercially. Beside she rent out her homestay to tourist, but being an aunt, I got to stay free...yahooo....and eat those fresshhh mushrooom and grilled fish for 2 days. We will be staying 1 nite in Kuala Lumpur to feed my niece shopping appetite. We will be heading home on Sunday 23 March. Btw, there will be 6 of us travelling together convoying in 2 cars. wow that's so cool! Have fun! My friend and I are going to phuket this coming may for a couple of days. That would be my first vacation for this year, can't wait! :D have loads of fun in las vegas!!

I am currently planning a trip to the chiropractic school I plan to attend. I am not sure about the dates yet but I will be spending at least a week staying with a friend of mine and her husband, her husband goes to the school so I am going to get to go to classes with him and meet all of his professors and a lot of students which I am really excited about!

I haven't been to Las Vegas since 1990! You will love it. We were lucky and went away three times in 2007, so we are only going a way camping for one week this summer. I really don't even want to do that with the way gas prices are, but hubby needs a week to relax and unwind.

I wish I had money to take a vacation. I have spring fever so bad! If I do get some money together I want to go up North to see my dad. I also want to get involved in some writing residency programs, such as the national parks and so on.

Well I'm not going on Vacation..but I just got back from one! I flew into Tampa, FL for a wedding over in Spring Hill. It was a great wedding too by the way..and I got to be down there for a week. It was also my first ever plane ride...eek.

I really love to travel and I go off on vacation whenever I can do this. Last autumn we went to Portugal and it was my baby's first trip overseas. This summer I am going with my baby to Latvia. He is growing up to be a traveler and this is excellent as I am a very keen traveler. My sister has four children and by comparison with me she rarely gets a vacation. Her husband has a land rover and a small caravan. Luckily they are going to Lego Land for a short break this year. I hope that your family will have a fantastic short break in exciting Las Vegas.

No time soon but I did go to Vegas for one whole week. Whew, my husband had to drag me back home. LOL

mmh,i have not 5 children and i'm not married too but unluckly the period for a avcation outside in relation where i live it is far from today!! usually if i can come i will spend holidays in summertime on the contrary in other period of the year it's hard to take a vcation as well!!so having a good holidays ;)

Yes! I'm going to a dog show in Tennessee next month. There will be friends there that I haven't seen in a few years. I can't wait to get away - it's been a rough winter!
