I am wondering about when we start a discussion on mylot, do we earn money for the popularity of the topic month after month, or does mylot keep the earnings in the following months for the ad revenue they generate. I assume that posting replies is not very would not be passive, I am talking about when we begin a relevant discussion.

Short of earning from referrals, I don't believe passive income is possible on myLot. I don't know how their earning program runs, but I do believe that if you start an active thread that continues to receive responses for a long period of time, it's possible you could continue to keep earning something w/o any further input from yourself. I consider passive income to be an investment or work that you do that continues to pay for a long period of time. Any referral program could provide passive income.

No, you do not get any passive income from myLot. You are credited only once for each discussion. If you start a discussion and it is responded by atleast one member, then you will be paid once for that discussion. Similarly, if you respond to other members discussion, you will get paid only once for that discussion. There is no payment for the popularity of your discussion and any regular/ passive income that can bring along. The only passive income from myLot is through your referrals. If you can get about 100 active referrals (Hmm...) then you can get a sizeable passive income throught their earnings. Thanks.
