Outraged!

Last night I was watching a show called Most Daring. It was a video of the trial of a man who killed a 69 year old man "just for kicks" while the old man was taking his morning walk. This guy killed the old man just for the sake of killing someone!!! Now, believe it or not, that isn't the thing that outraged me the most when I watched this video...
during the trial the victims and the suspects families were watching. The old mans daughter had to get up there and talk about losing her father and stuff. Well, the man plead guilty to avoid the death penalty, and instead got 30 years. HIS family believed that was too harsh a sentence. And in the hallway of the court house, when the trial was over the 2 families were all standing together.
Than some STUPID B**** from the suspects family said the most terrible thing you could imagine!! She said, "The man was 69 years old, what? Was he going to live forever?" Her family members started to laugh, but not for long because the victims family started to fight them. And the old mans daughter grabbed the woman who made that heartless remark. I was cheering for them! What kind of terrible person could say something like that!? If I had been there I would have slapped her myself!

Now you know what kind of respect for others and for life they have in the family where the guy came from that killed him. Explains what kind of family could raise someone like that, doesn't it? Most families would appologize or have the person apologize, at least, but in this case, the entire family doesn't seem to value life.
Unfortunately, if you hit first, no matter how provoked, most states the law would be on their side because you hit first.
Prayers for justice can sometimes work wonders. A friend of mine has used a prayer for justice before and what was done to him came back to that person. People started leaving his family and him alone. Take care

I don't understan how people could be SO disrespectful! It really really angers me.
I understand if you hit first you could et in trouble. But that wouldn't have stopped me. Cops have consciences too, and I'm hoping after reviewing the tape and seeing the suspects family taunt the victims family, no on will be charged.

You feel as I feel. But most states don't have a provoked beyond human tolerance/endurance and maybe they should.
Someday, maybe you'll go into criminal justice. We need someone to get laws changed and we need lots of people to uphold the laws we've got. Bet you'd be great!

lol thank you writers. But I'm not sure I would be good in law. I wouldn't deal well with stupid people, I'd probably get myself in trouble lol. That's one of the reasons I can't be a cop! =P I'd probably taze someone without real grounds to do so! lol. Just because they irritated me!
But I think the law will take into consideration that the family was reacting to such a terrible comment.

You really have to wonder what makes some people tick.
Sometimes I don't know whether to feel sorry for them (what happened to make them so seriously mentally warped). Or whether to feel outraged and angry at the damage they cause to others with their sick attitudes.
I guess both are probably appropriate.

I can defeniatly see why you would say that, but I would never feel sorry for anyone like this. I don't feel sorry for the man who killed the old man, and I don't feel sorry for the woman and family who mocked the victims family. They got what they deserved. (I'm not a violent person, and I don't normally like violence, but these people crossed the line! Especially the woman who made the comment).

Yeah, I know what you mean... I have to admit that outrage outweighs any sense of pity... but I still think perpetrators need help... if only to stop them from doing the same thing to others (rather than for their benefit).

Wow!! This is very heartless. How can someone value a life like this? And now it would make you think you know the sentence the other person got was just a kick in the bucket. Something needs to happen to this woman to help her think differently before something happens to her much worse, or she is the one standing trial for something. To me, this makes me cringe. No wonder the world is like it is today with people like this.

Yeah, I hate how people are caring less and less about eachother. I've pretty much given up on people shaping up, even though I know there still are some good people out there.
But people like these, they really need to be dealt with! It's because of them the world is slipping away. I can't believe the heartless, insane things people can say and think about eachother.

oh my God... i can't believe that somebody can be so heartless to make a comment like that... that is really very cruel and uncalled for... if i am one of the victim of the family member, i will definitely give her what she deserves... a slap is definitely one... i don't know what else i will do if i am there...

How about a couple slaps and a few swift kicks! I hope the victims family really made her regret what she said. She caused pain to her own family and herself for making that comment. And some young children from both families got very frightened!

Well some people were trying to pull the victims daughter off the woman! I'm not sure if she had her in a choke hold, or what exactly she was doing to her. But lucky for the woman that made the stupid comment not all the victims family were targeting her. The 2 families were battling eachother! I'll try to find the video so everyone can see it

Judging from the comment made by the murderers relative you can see where he got the killing instinct from... They sound like one totally SICK and dysfunctional family.

I don't know how someone could do this, and it shows that his family was just about as bad. That was cruel!

What kind of terrible person …I think its there in the entire family…insensitivity to others i.e. The man killed a 69year old just for kicks and his family things that it was kind of acceptable coz the victim would not have lived forever! Its there in their genes, I’m sure about it.

That remark gives some incite into why the man had no remorse for killing another human being. That is a very cold remark to make. Look the damage done to the murdered man's family. Age has no limit on the wrongness of killing a person. He could have a long time to live yet. 69 years old is not a old age.

Exactly! What about all the people that live to be 100! That guy's family defeniatly deserves what he's getting! I wonder if they would kill someone like that! And the sad thing is there were young kids around for both families, I wonder how they're all going to grow up. Probably very different from eachother!

It goes to show the type of upbringing this boy had and how little he and his family value not only life but other ppl's feelings. I can understand completely why the fight broke out...

Yeah I don't blame the victims family one bit, and I sure hope that the court doesn't either!! Under these circumstances, anyone would have fought after a comment like that!

You know if I am there and I am part of the victims family i might had killed them all. Did that man of 69 years old deserve to die, not anyone deserves to die. If they were on the victims shoes how can they react on this. People like them have no values, they are animals, they don't have brains and sadly they are spreading here on earth.

I know exactly what you mean when you are saying they're animals...but I really don't think actual ANIMALS desreve that comparisson. Animals don't behaive like people, overall they are better species. I'm not sure what we could compare these kind of people too....ghouls, demons?
I wouldn't even have to have been related to the man! If I heard that comment, and knew the circumstanes-I would have smacked the woman regardless. I would have helped the victims daughter hold her down!

If that was me, they might as well have lined up another trial right then and there, because I would have eliminated that woman with extreme prejudice!!! (just saying I would have killed her wasn't strong enough)
As far as the crime, something similar happened here in Cincinnati a few years ago. These two college students ordered a pizza, then once the delivery guy got there, they pulled him inside the house and killed him. They didn't take the money from him or anything. What was their reasoning for doing it? They wanted to know what it would be like to kill a man. Just stupid and cold.

I would really love to tell you, but I don't know where to find the story. This happened several years ago. I know they went to jail, and I would love to tell you they both got life sentences. But the honest truth is I don't remember. The only reason I do remember is they had this on the news for days here, and all I kept thinking is how sick do you have to be to kill a random person just for the simple sake of killing him?
If you know a way I could look this up, because I don't know any keywords to use, I would appreciate it if you told me. I am off now to see if I can find anything on Yahoo!Local.

And after that search I learned something very valuable, I don't ever want to be a pizza delivery person!!! I never knew there were so many murders and assaults of pizza delivery persons. Even when I narrowed it down to just Ohio, I got thousands upon thousands of results. I still didn't find the one I was talking about. All the ones I saw were robbery/murders, and I distinctly remember them saying they just wanted to know what it felt like to kill someone. If you have any luck finding it let me know.

Yeah that's a good way of saying you would kill her, nice! The victims daughter was certainly trying, and I don't blame her!
That is awful what those guys did! That poor pizza guy, and his family! What did the two guys get for their awful crime?!?!?

Yeah people like that are terrible. And I really hope 'the law' takes into consideration what was said to the family to make them react that way.
