Yeah, it's been quite a cricketing season for India and with the IPL starting shortly , the cricket buffs in India won't have much to complain about the quality or the quantity of cricket being aired. As is certain form the recent press releases , some of the under 19 champs are going to be induced into the IPL teams at $30,000 as they won't be auctioned like the senior international cricketers , but once they prove their worth on the IPL (which basically has so many players from the international circuit that it's no less than playing a series of international T20s), I feel they will be pushing for their places in the senior international teams as well.So , at the moment, Indian cricket looks going only up.My understanding is that when the youngsters falter , the icon players will be recalled back even for the ODIs , just that all those veterans won't be representing the Indian international ODI team all at the same time.This is not a bad strategy keeping in mind that many of the veterans will either retire or may not be at their best during the next worldcup.

It was nice to read the Juniors winning the cup and seniors beating the Aussies. Dhoni captained well. And Sachin batted well too. I hope he would continue to play well for India, and breaks all records before he retires.
