cup or mug?

I'm a coffee drinker. I like any kind of coffee, be it brewed or instant, black or with cream. I also like to serve coffee in my house. I use my mug whenever I drink coffee, but when I serve coffee to guests, I use cups and saucers. Where do you like your coffee be served, in a mug or in a cup?

I was just thinking about mugs, as my special one just gor broken & now I'm sulky! I don't know what I'll have my coffee in tomorrow morning, somehow the others don't seem so attractive. I prefer a mug to a cup always. I suppose I'd be a bit suprised if I was served with a mug in a restaurant, but I don't think I'd mind. If I've got guests I go all posh & wheel out a couple of mugs that match though. I do have some standards ;-)

I really don't know but I find it better when coffee is served on mugs.

I drink tea from a large mug. I have a whole set of tea cups and saucers, but I can't ever remember using them

I also drink tea but I like coffee better. I have three whole sets of tea cups and saucers with tea pot. I use it on special occasions.

I drink my coffee in a giant cup. it's the equivelant of 2 average cups. Less trips to the coffee pot. I got my hubby in the habit now too.We finish off a 1/2 pot and get a real go start to the day. Well, once in a while.
