I have seen a number of payment services called altergold, e-gold, liberty reserve...What are they and how do they work? I am too skeptical to just start using something I do not understand. Thank you.

They are Pay Processors. They work simluar to PayPal. Paypal does not let internet marketers use paypal, that have a matrix pay plan. You have to add your bank account and or credit card info on the pay processors. And my be your SS#.I ve been using them for 3 years now and have never had problems with the ones I use. I know people that have been using them for years and never had problems with them either. I signed up for this new pay processor.Revaluton Money Exchanger. I got $25 for signing up. I did have to put my SS#. They are backed by a bank in South Dakota. This is the way how Paypal started. Paying people to sign up. I have an e-gold acct but have never really used them. You have to go through another company to put money into your e-gold acct. People use them all the time.
