inconsistencies of love

ever been inlove?if yes then you would probably agree with me on this one.
Love has taken me to a place i never knew existed and ... it has also brought me so much pain that one can't even feel his own fingers from the numbness that engulfs him.

Wow what a unique and true way to describe the roller coaster of emotions that is love. I agree that there is a fine line between the heart pounding ecstasy that is love and the agonizing heartache that it can bring. It is the pain of love that makes it feel so beautiful once we have it again. I remember the sadness that came from the love in my life, but I also am thankful for the blessings that have emerged from the pain. Strength. Knowledge. The ability to love myself and to understand that I am human like everyone but I am not my emotions. If we can love once we can love again.

I think love and pain is universal, one can't exist without the other.. it's like cause and effect.
But i think loving without pain is experiencing love without knowing it at all, because you can only say you have loved a person when that person reached a far and deep part of yourself and was able to leave a mark, which ofcourse is equivallent to the agonizing and soul electrifying pain that one has to go through ( i might be too harsh but then, what better way to describe it realistically).
