what have you learned or dicovered in your significant other that shocks you?

we have a lot of friends and lovers, but you don't know them very very well, and there will be instances that you would know something about him.
so what have you discovered in your significant other (e.g. wife, husband, friends, family members), that shocks you, and what is your reaction towards it?

Ok, I am gonna tell you that one time... our family almost broke of. My mother had found out that my dad was going out with another girl. It's a good thing though that it's over already... My mother was able to gather the strength to forgive him once.

Well... I did have a happy family, and that was also unexpected for me. That's over with though...

it that true?!! well im sorry for that, im quite supprise on what you have said, and also thankful that your mother reconcile and gave your father that chance, i guess you're not planning to duplicate what your father have done.
if that happends to my parent(which i think it happened already before), i prefer them parting ways.

I think the most recent one was finding out that a friend of mines husband was convicted of raping a 15 year old girl. You would think she would have told me about this knowing I have children. It upsets me when I find out this type of information after I let my oldest child go fishing with him.

To bad she isn't the one who told me. His brother did. I found out only after they moved half way across the state and I flipped out.

That he farts a lot. Lolz. Many thought it's very disgusting but I find it very cute.
