If you only had 3 items to cook with, what would they be?

Sometimes I want to fix something different, but don't always know what to fix. I was wondering if there were any easy to fix meals with about 3 ingredients that don't take long to make. Like a 30 minute meal thing. lol Thanks for any suggestions

My three ingrediants would be cabbage, pork and garlic. The three items go together so well. It is what I am fixing for supper and adding spices and it is done. It only takes about 30 minutes to fix. The spices vary on my moods. Tonight, it is garlic, ginger and 5 spice. Tomorrow might be cumin and garlic and pepper. It just depends.

We do cabbage, kielbasa, and pumperknickel bread. We slice up the kielbasa put in the bottom and up the sides of a big frying pan, then while that is cooking we but up the cabbage and put it on top. Now I fry mine but when Bob makes it he steams it by putting a lid on it. So it does come out differently. Then pepper once it hits the table. And bread and butter and you are all set. Yummy!!!

If you have a pressure cooker with you I can give you a completely different recipe which you can make with in half an hour but it will not be of the 3 ingredients one. Cook rice and split green gram together with twice the amount of water, and salt to taste. Add whole peppercorns and cumin seeds one or two crushed garlic flakes and a little julienned ginger. Cook it up till the rice and green gram dal gets cooked. Heat butter or ghee , fry some cashewnuts and add it to the rice mix. Have that with pickles and salad. See if you like it. It will be a change for you. All the best

Now that sounds real good. How do you fix it? Do you just all them all together. Do I need some kind of sauce? I really want to try this. Thanks
