You are not supposed to pop a blister. I do it, sometimes, on myself but I know I will be careful to keep it clean afterwards. Even so, I'm not supposed to do this. I think it would be best to conceal it with a bandaid.

Hello dear ersmommy. I would like to choose the latter as I did this one time to myself when I was burned by the smoke pipe of a motorbike. I still remember the painful experience to have my leg burned by the burning pipe. At first, it was just very painful and later it developed to a huge water blister after a few hours. Then I used a clean needle to pop the blister allowing the stuff to drain out to reduce the pain. It took me a few weeks before my leg could feel no pain any more, but a big scar has been left ever since. I feel so bad for this, but there is no other way out even I have tried scar lavender for help. It did not work and I have to leave it there. This area of the skin feels dry and itching in dry weather in winter. Thanks for your discussion, dear friend.

Mine are constantly getting blood blisters, they dont even have a band aid on them we just leave them to go away on their own. Mine tend to view them as war wounds and proudly show them off to anyone who will look at them. I on the other hand if I get a blood blister then I am in agony and it has to go at once!
