to get out of bed...BLAMO...you find out its not...So I fell super ill yesterday and was in brutal shape throughout the night last night..well I managed to nap today and when I woke up thought I was doing much better....WRONG!!! I went and had a shower and half way through started to feel dizzy and sick to my tummy again...SOOO now that my daughter is home from school..back to bed I go... I dont knwo what this bug is but my daughter had it over the weekend and now I've got it and I'm telling you its NASTY...and I HATE being sick :-( plus when I'm sick i of course get body aches which naturally make my already existing body aches 10x's worse and add to that my PMS and yea...I'm NOT a pleasant person right now..... Don't you just hate being ill?? Do you get sick often in the winter months? g'night :-(

I don't get sick very often (touch wood!) and so far this winter I have made it through without even a sniffle and all my neighbors have been ill. I did get a flu shot in October so perhaps that is what saved me. Hope you feel better soon. BTW watched any good movies lately?? LOL. I have 2 new ones to watch, "Twisted" with Ashley Judd and "Murder by Numbers" with Sandra Bullock.

*is obviously going through the mylot folder in my inbox...now* lmao. Actually I'm usually only EVER really sick during winter months. Last year there was this kinda hopped up version of the flu that actually managed to take me out of commission for a whole day. (It took everyone else out for a whole week and no one was safe from it!) Boy was it a really bad idea for me to try to get up that day. I regretted it instantly. I had my Mom call in work that day, to tell them I couldn't make it, heh. Could you have imagined me sitting out in the cold ringing bells for the SA with something where if you moved your lungs would feel sharp congestion? *shuddered* I slept all of that day and was back up the next. Took me like a week to get rid of it completely. I had to deal with a ragged, very drying, very sensitive throat for the rest of it and after that I could only breathe while standing up lol. I hope you got over that virus quickly after you posted this discussion....seven months ago, ^_^'

Hi from a fellow sufferer. I have stomach flu or gastro enteritis to be exact. I feel like a ten ton truck had run over my tummy. Outside its warm and sunnyand here I am sick to my tummy and having to run to the bath room every twenty minutes. I ache all over and just hope what I ate for lunch will not make me sicker. I hate being sick as I always want to go outside and cannot. I just do not have any energy left as I was sick all last night. so I can really relate to what you are going through.think I will crawl back in bed after I get thru mylotting.

I hate being sick! The flu is going around here like crazy and I know it is only a matter of time until I catch something. I usually do during the spring months. I'm sorry you are sick and I do hope you feel better really soon! Get plenty of rest, drink lots of fluids..just take care of yourself!

I haven't gotten sick for the past 2 years. I really swear by the flu shot even though it doesnt help everything.. I say it works. I always used to have it bad in the winter and I havent even had a bad cold this year, and its been going around the office like crazy. I hope you're feeling better soon.

I had what you have last week... and I posted about it too. lol. It's the only benefit from being sick... it gives you another discussion topic for mylot. :P I don't usually get very sick over the winter. I almost always have a constant drippy nose from being out in the cold, but to have an actual cold, maybe I get 3 at most. What I rarely get is the nauseous kind of sick, and that's what I had last week. I had a nasty case of the flu last spring too. At least when I was sick last week it wasn't bad enough that I had to throw up (although I felt close to it a few times). hahha.. as a friend pointed out last night about himself, and I concur, "I am vehemently opposed to vomiting". I hope you're feeling better soon hon. Keep getting as much rest as you can, and keep up with those clear fluids! :)

I am very sorry to hear that.I really hope you can be healthy again in the near future. In my oppinion, everyone hates being ill, because it does not only brings the body sickness but also the pschonological illness. However, being ill is very natural and normal.Nobody can promise to prevent from it.But we really can take some measures to control the harmness of ill,for exmple, doing some necessary exercises to improve our body ability.I wish you can have a happy and healthy life!
