Job searching...blah! Any hints?

I've been looking for a job for a little while now, without much success and was wondering if anyone had any good tips. I've been applying to lots of jobs and e-mailing out my resume to organizations, etc., but I've gotten very little positive response. I just recently completed an MBA and have some work experience, as well, so I feel that I should be pretty employable. Any advice on landing a job?

Well if you need a job soon (to pay bills, etc.) you might want to try any telemarketing/telephone survey jobs in your area. I just went in today (I live in Las Vegas) to a phone survey company (no selling anything)and got hired on the spot. Nine bucks an hour, and you pretty much make your own schedule, and you can work seven days a week if you want. Also there was a man who also had an MBA. He said he was going to take the job, until he became a teacher. Of course both of you have a good education, but perhaps while you're looking for a job, you could make some money doing something like that. Hope this helps. Good luck on your job search.
