Imagine what $2 trillion dollars would have done to wipe out poverty in America. An excerpt from the New York Times article: "On Thursday, the Joint Economic Committee, chaired by Senator Chuck Schumer, conducted a public examination of the costs of the war. The witnesses included the Nobel Prize-winning economist, Joseph Stiglitz (who believes the overall costs of the war — not just the cost to taxpayers — will reach $3 trillion), and Robert Hormats, vice chairman of Goldman Sachs International. For a fraction of the cost of this war,” said Mr. Stiglitz, “we could have put Social Security on a sound footing for the next half-century or more.” Imagine the change in the health system. An injection of funds into the power issues facing all of the USA. And the problem of water catchments in the south. I pity you people, who are paying taxes! $2 trillion... You can use to money to help the poor in the states as well as in other parts of the world. Well I guess some people in the goverment think war is like an investment. you invest 2 trillion maybe after 10years you'll get double or tripple the money from oil and other business capitalism. you know some say that most bad intention starts as a good intention but i don't think this saying applies to politician. they are pure evil.....

Yes of course it could have been better spent! But how would You spend it? Some believe that each soul chooses his/her life before incarnating? Would it be correct and proper to deny that soul its right to live a chosen life of Poverty? There are those who believe a soul cheated from its inherent right of Impecuniousness, would squander the blessings of a Generous Government and soon settle back into its chosen Path. Would the USA be able to spend this staggering amount of money wisely? Huge corrupt corporations would be formed to quickly gobble it up before the inept Government could decide on how to best spend it on its poor and needy citizens.

Remember hearing the words "Heaven on Earth", we are so far up the backside of the darkside that the chances of redemption are becoming an impossibility. We the people need to start standing up and doing something about this stupidity. Governments do what they are doing because we allow it. And perhaps what the Governments are doing is just a mirror of how inept we the people are at taking better charge of our own destiny. Got a solution?

We the people cannot grasp the immensity of the number "1000,000." Our brains did not evolve on such a scale. The number "one trillion" is not of this world, because this world has not even been here for One Trillion Seconds. So now they are talking Three trillion! Who are these people? How can they bandy about such dogmatic figures?

Not dogmatic figures at all. Apparently the size of the US budget is in the trillions 1,000,000,000,000. But it's allot of cash to splurge on bullets.
