Would you do it?

Would you ever consider trying out for Big Brother? I did a couple of years ago. I printed out the application and seriously thought about it. But, after talking to my husband about it, decided not too. It would be too hard for him to work and take care of two young kids while I was gone. I do think that if I had been single or married with no kids I would have applied. Well, and lost SEVERAL pounds. So am I the only crazy one here, or did others want to?

I too printed out and filled out an application a few years ago before deciding not to go through with it. I just couldn't leave my life behind. Like you, perhaps if I were single, I would have done it. I really love the show and think that I could work what I know about the show to my advantage and possibly do alright...probably not win, but still do ok.
But, you are not crazy. I did what you did and then did more of what you did!

In a way I think we would have an advantage because we are fans. It seems like in recent seasons that most of the players don't or have never watched the shows.

And, I think a lot of the players try to pretend like they don't watch the show. Sheila said she didn't watch it before she got on it but, she knew an awful lot of stuff about the show. I can't remember specifics but, she did know more stuff than she should have for having not watched it. Liar! LOL!

I would love to be on big brother. I am very easy to get along with....I can go with the flow and keep my emotions to myself, so probably would do well.
The problem....I would look horrible in one of those bikinis!!
I also would have to leave my husband with my kids and it wouldn't work.
Wouldn't it be fun if they filled the house with a bunch of housewives and dads? None of these cute little bodies~ normal sized people! Then I could try out.

no i would never do it, i am never going to be that fame hungry. Also , I honestl;y think big brother is the worst example of vacuuous television I would not want to be associated w2ith it

I wouldnt want to be on the show I enjoy watching it too much too miss a season lol. Even if i wanted to im too normal to make it on the show.

I've thought about it as a What If but never thought I would seriously do it. I think the show is really designed for single people or people who don't care if they lose their job b/c it's often that that happens. I've noticed there are rarely people on the show who are married or have kids, and the ones that are spend the whole day "wah, I miss my husband, I miss my kids" instead of strategizing.

I am also one to have printed out the application but I never sent it. I often wonder what it would be like to be on, especially with a friend, an ex or a relative. I may have done it when I was single but I could never leave my 2 little ones now. And now that I see how bad people rip the house guests apart (including myself), I would be afraid of the criticisms! I definitely wouldn't be part of any make out fests or strip teases but I know that I'm not perfect!
