Google and the ability to locate people

Years ago if you lost contact with someone you would have probably ended up hiring a private detective as huge expense but Google has really made a massive impact. Late last night here myLot was playing up a bit so I got doing some searches to occupy me and decided to Google an ex boyfriend of mine. A friend had started a discussion regarding smells bringing back memories and I said how cucumbers reminded me of an eye gel I had when I was 13 and brought back fond memories or my boyfriend at the time I used to go swimming with that I though I was too cool for. Well I googled him - and guess what, he has his own photography business. He has done so well for himself. Much better than me anyway who is working in a call centre and currently applying for a job doing telephone banking. So really I can eat my words, I ain't too cool for him. He has done far better than me. I messaged him but as yet no reply. We should all take this chance now to Google someone we used to know a long time ago and share our stories of what we find.
