Anyone use coputer code?

Today i just started playing with some computer scripts VBS , Virtual basic script. For those who don't know what it is , its just a script that will perform tasks on your computer for you. You can code it to post things and such. After a few hours of playing with it , i find it crappy. Its not the best thing. It is use full , but its very limited. I want to try some C codes. What are they used for?
