there is a hole in the wall of my bedroom, which is prepared for air-condition. while i'm an odd guy never use air-condition in hot summer. in that way,the hole is left unused. one morning,i heard twitter vividly just like they were in the room in my dream. i opened my eyes and the twitter were even more clear. i checked my bedroom carefully only to find nothing.suddenly the twitter appeared again, followed which i discovered the truth finally. there were two sparrows in the hole, they regard it as their home and skip the trouble to build a nest. i admit that they are pretty smart to find such a nest. it's more harder and warmer than nest built by themselves. now the two sparrows become my cohabitant. we get along very well and never disturb each other. what's more,i enjoy getting up hearing their twitters everyday.it's very nice, isn't it? do you have such experience for share or what do you think about it?

Great feeling! I have the same experience as you. Last spring, I found a nest of sparrows outside my balcony, just under the air-condition's mask. I was exciting for seeing them so closely. I couldn't imagine when and how they built their house there, but indeed it was a safe place for them to lay some eggs. Actually at that time they had already had one baby who was so small. I moved the mask slightly, and I could see the baby sparrow stared at me frightened. I didn't disturb them until their baby was grown up and learned to fly by itself. When they left, the summer was coming. So I used the air-condition again. I has to say goodbye to them.

it is quite impressive, having unexpected guest in your room, and co habituating with each other, well next time , give them some foood or water, it is so nice that your alarm clock every morning is a set of sparrows that is tweeting for you, a nice gesture for mornings, i don't have similar situation like yours, but i do have 2 sets of love birds that i pet, and a lot of fisher along the way,.

That is nice. I wake up to doves and woodpigeons cooing on the rooftops, which is nice but I also get big noisy gulls landing on the flat roof over my kitchen. It sounds like they are dancing in heavy boots!

I envy you to be able to have an animal comfortable enough to live with you. I also would really love that experience. The most probable thing that could happen though is by owning a pet myself, too bad though my family doesn't approve of cats or dogs. Having a pet bird on my house would be lovely too, but I don't want pets in a cage... it feels too boring having them as a pet if they're in a cage.

you can have birds loosing their alert to you and make friends with them.that's nice!while raising a bird pet in cage has less fun.what's more,to feed them as well as clean the cage daily is also boring.
