My husband and I have been on two Carnival cruises so far to Mexico and we just loved it. The most recent one was for my 60th birthday. It was a blast and really affordable. Has anyone here been on a cruise? Where did you go and on what cruise line? Did you like it? Tell me about your experience? Were the waters rough and how did you deal with that.

I've taken three cruises so far. They were all Carnival cruises which I took with a singles group. I loved the entertainment provided, especially the retro-'80s show on one trip and the midnight comedy shows. During the last cruise, I actually dined in the ship's supper club, which was excellent. There were rough waters during one day of each cruise, including one which made the ship unable to stop in Costa Maya, Mexico. After being at sea for a few days, the occasional boat rocking didn't bother me.

I think you have to pay extra to dine in the Supper Club so we didn't bother. I just loved the food on the Cruise ship Fantasy. The last cruise they had a "Beatles" tribute, so us being Beatles fans, that was a bonus!

No, I've never been, but the odd thing is I have been online the past two days looking into Carnival cruises and the ones to Mexico are really affordable. My husband and I still have the last of the kids at home - a teenager so we have been looking for a fun cruise that's not too full of us "Older" folks. I don't think we're going to do it right away, but definitely this year. I'd love to hear some experiences here. whit

Don't worry about bringing your teen or you kids, the Carnival cruises have alot of things to do for both teens and kids. They even have teen clubs that have great music and dancing, a library and alot of other neat stuff for kids and teens to do. For kids they have camp Carnival with all kinds of children activities. They are very affordable! Hope you find one you like! :)

Oh, I'm looking forward to going and one of these days it's going to happen. It's good to know the whole family will have fun. The oldest just called for help with dental bills - at least one thing to be done that can't wait. Honestly, does it never end? whit
