I belong to an opinion site. It has many topics and it has been annoying not to be eligible for ones I really want to do. I was quick to get the first £5 voucher but the second one had to be for £10 and I have just reached that after many months. I am waiting for a voucher and it will take a month. I wonder whether I should leave this opinion site for a more enjoyable way of making extra money.
Do you like opinion sites?
Have you any suggestions of something more enjoyable?
Thanks.

I belong to quite a few and get annoyed with many when I reply immediately to email and study is already closed and then there are others who find out all the info then say you are not applicable, however I have found a few good ones and have had really good payouts. Recieved £40 from one £50 from another and have just qualified for £20 from another if you want to PM me to get the good ones by all means do, this won't be on referral just sharing as I know you in UK too. Ellie :D

I agree that it is annoying when I reply to an email and this topic is already closed. Another thing that is irritating is when I am really keen on a topic but not eligible. Once I almost complete a topic and 99% done it just closed on me. I am impressed with the payouts that you have got. Well done. Thanks Ellie I will PM you later.

The problem with opinion sites is the are often based around people in the USA and if you live in the UK then you will struggle to get enough.

Yes, I live in the UK. I guess that opinion sites like Americans most of all as they are based in the USA. My Lot differs from that luckily because it is great for people from every country in the world. I am aware that some making extra money sites restrict some nationalities.

I have never joined any opinion site so far. But I had joined a survey site. I never got qualified for 2nd stage survey though. It's because I am not from the target respondents of the survey company. Usually the 1st stage prelim questions are asking like the location, the job and other basic questions. From there, the candidate will be justified to be eligible for 2nd stage survey. Usually the reward for completing a survey is a sum of money ranging from $10 to $30. The only I was annoyed and got fed-up is, I never got selected LoL. I think you are luckier than me, because at least you got a voucher once. So, for me, I would say Mylot is better than those opinion or survey site. At least Mylot is paying for every effort you put in.

I wouldn't mind an opinion site. Would that be similar to a survey site, where my opinion is asked?
I belong to one Aussie survey site, & it is quite good. I am not eligible for all their surveys.
So far I have received one $10 voucher & two $20 vouchers, so I am quite pleased.

I belong to 'Ciao.co.uk' which is very good I have earned over £100 from them in the last 6 months & also received products to test at home like cereals & top brand shaving foam. They send you surveys ranging from 50p to £5 to complete (although I did see one survey for £80 but I wasn't eligible) I'm also a member of 'Valued Opinions' & I received a £10 Tesco Voucher from them last week for completing surveys. Another good one I am a member of is 'It's Your View' which pays out once you reach 50 points (each point worth £1) Try siginging up to one of sites I just mentioned they are all 100& legite, & with Ciao especially you get a few surveys a week to complete + you can earn cash by writing reviews, refering others, video reviews & more. Good luck!

Thanks for you suggestions. It looks like through all your experiences of opinion sites you have found the ones that suit you most of all. It must have been frustrating not to be eligible for the one for £80. It sounds especially good when you get a few things to do each week and the activities sound more varied than just opinions. I will try one of these out.

When you say an opinion site, I presume you mean a survey site. If so, I am a member with over 600 of them and I don't get very many paid surveys, just surveys for putting my name in a draw, which I have never been lucky enough to win anything or any money. But my brother once won $100 but has never won anything since. I think most of them are just a waste of time and so I don't always do the surveys anymore. I only do the ones that are 15 minutes or shorter, no more of the long ones.

The only opinion site that I like is Yougov because you get paid for every survey you partake in, and you get generous rewards for a little bit of time they take, you do need to get £50 to be able to cash out and I have received a nice cheque from them. I used to do a TV opinion site and used to be rewarded £5 each time for Amazon but they suddenly stopped. I prefer to receive cash rather than vouchers and some are so long winded that they put me off.
