I live in the Uk and have always worn a seatbelt -
it was complusory when I learnt to drive and it became habit just to put it on before driving off.
The UK laws have got stricter and now paassengers have to wear them as well. It could be the responsibility of the driver to ensure that all passengers are wearing depending on how old they are

I wear my seatbelt all the time - there have even been a few times the kids have caught me putting it on just to back the car in the driveway....
14 years ago I was in an accident - I was actually avoiding what had already happened just in front of me but the result was my car rolled all the way over. I remember hanging upside down in the car, looking out the front window still moving and thinking 'thank God I have my seatbelt on and thank God the kids aren't with me'. I walked away from that once they got me out of the car (after it stopped moving but was caved in on all sides) - I know I wouldn't have if I hadn't had my seatbelt on.

Well Finally, glad to see that you have learned to wear your seat belt. You sure got enough tickets for not wearing your seat belt.
I've wore my seat belt a long time, I even have fussed at you to put in on many a time.
On occassion if I am making a lot of stops, then I may not buckle up,otherwise you will always find mine on, it is just a habit, don't even think about it!

I've always worn mine, I've never been without one. It's a safty thing. You should have learned from the first ticket to start wearing it, in fact, you should have been wearing a seat belt since before the tickets. So yes, I always wear mine.

I only wear a seat belt if its bad weather or my grandchildren are in the car with me...I was in an accident some years back and didn't have seat belt on...The police told me if I had my seat belt on I would have received a broken hip. The guy had crossed the center line and hit the drivers door..I see him coming and leaned away from the impact..If had the seat beat on I couldn't have leaned far enough...
