Are you SNOWED in?? The snow that just won't stop!!!!!

I live in the Buffalo area and we are getting pounded with snow for the last 2 days and its not stopping!!! I know that some people would say that we should be used to the snow and cold weather but I will never be used to it...even after 33 years! I have seen on the weather channel that Ohio is having blizzard conditions. What are your winter horror stories???

I really do like the snow..but then again that could be because I don't get alot of it so whenever I get the chance to see some snow i really get excited...but i remember this one winter we had a horrible ice/snow storm and it lasted for a few days and the power was out and we couldn't do anyhting for almost a week..worst experience i ever had...

I like it to snow on Christmas but thats about it! Where are you from?? I'm not into skiing or any winter sports so thats probably why I don't care for it. I remember 6 years ago when we got over 3 feet of snow in a short period of time and everyone was stranded at their jobs. I was lucky to work across the street from a hotel so a bunch of us went and got a room for the night. It was a crazy night and it was so weird to see stranded cars left all over the roads!

We're snowed in here and it's STILL coming down... Silly me actually went out last night and came home through the snow and slippery roads. I can't wait for winter to be over!

LOL.. I live in Indiana on the boarder with ohio, kentucky we have been pounded with snow. We have about 14+ inches here. But with the wind we have drifts everywhere. The snow has finally moves out. And we spent the last part of the day digging out. Guess we are lucky that it hit on the weekend. That is the only good thing with it. NOT to mention the kids had a fun day in it. And the dogs loved it. That was funny to watch. Snow can be good. But will be glad to see it gone. I am ready for warm weather.
