Right now, I prefer to use Eset Nod32. It does its job pretty well. It monitors your internet activity. It blocks unwanted drive-by downloads. It is also very light on resources. It does not consume a lot of memory. By the way, it is a paid version, but it is worth it anyway. There are also other free AV applications, which are also very effective in terms of detecting malware. I suggest Avira AntiVir for free version. I hope this would help to you in any way. :-)

Latest virus is not important the best antivirus kaspersky. Regarding latest virus try scanning your system you will find one why because you dont have kasperesky.
