How hard do you find it not to say,"I told you so?"

I've seen my friends and my mother do a lot of stupid things in their lives. I've seen them do things that I clearly saw as a bad idea from the beginning. For some odd reason, I seem to be blessed with a gift. One that allows me to analyze situations and really see the big picture about what is really going on. Everytime I tell someone it's a bad idea (when they ask for my advice and when they don't) they just jump head first into it anyway and then a lot of bad stuff ends up happening and their feelings usually get hurt. Of course, I just want to shout I told you so, but sometimes I keep it to myself, other times I wait awhile before saying,"You know I told you I didn't feel right about it".
Do you find yourself in the same situations? How do you handle it? Have you ever stopped giving them advice because you've found it pointless, especially since they just ignore what you've said anyway?

I have found myself in the exact same situation as you. Of course you know that. And I've completely stopped giving advice because they don't listen to me! I get so tired of wasting my breath and then them biting back at me even when I did offer my advice. It's not my fault that they are to blame and it's all their fault that they got themselves into the mess.
