We Are All Ticking Time Bombs

Each and every one of us are a ticking time bomb, we could die just like that, no one know what is happening inside us, is our heart going to stop suddenly? Is there a cancer lurking inside us waiting to strike, have we got a tumour inside us? Are we going to walk out of our house and get run over, attacked and stabbed in this society which is becoming ever more violent? Do you treat every day as your last on earth? You stop to wonder just how much in life we take for granted, and we could have it all today and lose it tomorrow. Do you make plans for when you are old and gray and save, save, save and what if you died tomorrow all that saving is wasted. Do you take your health, life for granted and do you ever stop and think what if today is my last day? No one knows it's true unless you can see into the future.

Boy I can't image living with that on my mind all of the time. It would drive me crazy to think of everyday being my last day. I don't worry or think about dying. If it happens, it happens, and there is nothing I can do about it. We all have to die sometime but when we don't know. If a person knows when they are going to die, life wouldn't be any fun because we would be always thinking about it. We don't have any savings for when we retire and old because we live paycheck to paycheck and there is never anything left for savings. I just have to hope that there will still be old age pensions and income supplement from the government when the time comes that my husband can't work anymore, or me.

Yep that is all true honey and that is the main reason I don't want to know what is ahead of me - face it as it comes! I don't tend to make plans for my old age and I definitely don't save for retirement - mainly cos I can't afford to! xxx

Something I read somewhere said that the moment that we are born, we start to die. It is probably not a way to look at the life, but as we get past the tipping point I can see where we need to look at what we really want to acomplish and what we are really here for. I don't know, but I know that we can lament over time that was wasted...because it is done.

I like to think I live every day as if it was my last but there again do we honestly. When I was younger I did loads of things with the theory that you only live once but as I get older I suppose I do things sensibly. I dont have any savings left now but sometimes do worry that if I get old with no money behind me but then other days I think Nah im still young.
