If you've got a Scot and an Irish descendent then you need someone that's English too. I live in Salisbury in Wiltshire which is in the South of England. I was born in Windsor (where the Queen has a small palace) and grew up in Berkshire and Oxfordshire on the banks of the River Thames (literally). My family hail from the British Midlands and have been Engineers, merchants, millers and foundry owners. I can trace my direct lineage back to 1687 and am working hard at the moment to get back another hundred years to when records began.

I shall not bore you with lots of detail. Finding your relatives is probably quite straightforward so long as you have some sort of family record. I.e. family with long memories, old letters etc. You can find out quite a lot from passenger manifests (for example there will be a record of your grandparents sailing to Canada). I will hazard a guess that one or both of them were born before 1901 so you could probably find them in Census returns. Whatever, I hope that you do get a chance to visit England. LIverpool is a great city now (it used to be awful) and Liverpudlians have a distinct character.

I am an Asian... Filipina to be specific. I came from the Philippines but my father came from a Spanish lineage. I am here in the US and I married an American whose ancestors came from Canada who happened to come from a French lineage. So you have an idea now what our future kid will be. United Nation baby... LOL.

I am Canadian. Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, now living in London, Ontario.
My mum was born in Ontario as well, but her mother was from the Ukraine, and her father's side was originally from Germany.
My father was born in Ireland, and his parents were both of Irish descent, but he spent a lot of his youth growing up in Scotland.
