The bucket list.....

I watched this last nigth and it was really good, it is about 2 guys who have cancer and write a list of things they want to do before they "kick the bucket" so of course hubby and I started the discussion of what we would do.
If you only had 6 months to live and money was no object what would you want to do?

We are waiting for this to come from Netflicks. I loved the previews and can't wait to see it.
If I knew I only had a short time to live the first thing I would do is get my affairs in order and then I think I would want to spend as much time with my loved ones as I could. I would want to share with them family stories they may not get to hear once I am gone, tell them how much they mean to me and how much I love them, and share in their laugher, hopes and dreams. Too many times when we lose someone we say "if I could only tell them" or "I hope they knew", well, I would spend the time I had left telling them so they did know.
If money was no object I would make sure my family had what they needed (their own home, decent transportation, money in the bank for kid's education,debts paid, etc). My dream has always been to go to Australia but knowing I only had a short time left I don't think I would go as my family is more important to me. Of course, one never knows until the time comes, do we.
