Thumbs Up For The Grindhouse

After finally being able to watch Robert Rodriguez's The Grindhouse Presents Planet Terror I can say that it was worth the wait. I appreciated the throwback to the old Exploitation flicks, but was somewhat surprised that my roommate (almost the same age as me) confessed to no knowledge whatsoever of the Exploitation genre. Am I the only one who remembers Sweet Sugar, Terminal Island, and too many women in prison movies to count? Maybe I'm getting old. Thank god for filmmakers from my own generation who were obviously influenced by these films. Does anyone else fondly remember an Exploitation flick?
