Do you like your doctor?

I had a doctor that I loved. He didn't take insurance but gave me forms to fill out to get money back from my insurance company. He has since retired and I haven't found another doctor I like yet. I have heard alot of my friends say their doctor's are patronizing and give them advice on matters that are none of their business. My doctor would just ask me questions about things that were is business and would listen to me when I talked. He never gave me unwanted advice. Does your doctor patronize you? Do you like your doctor? If not, why do you still have him/her as your doctor? PEACE

I am sorry you can't find the doctor you like.I wish you luck. I don't like or trust doctors. I haven't had a doctor since I was in highschool and I don't see getting one anytime soon.

I obviously meant Mayo Clinic. Thanks for the support and I will tell my cousin you send your love. One of the reasons I think she is still alove is the fight in her. She has things she wants to do yet in her life. She never thought she would be around to see her only daughter get married, but she did last September. We both cried real hard because we were glad she got to see this beautiful woman in her wedding dress walking down the aisle. PEACE

Hi fpd1955, I've had the same doctor for about thirty years, and I would not want to change, although I'll probably have to someday. He is a good doctor as well as a friend. Blessings.

we usually choose different hospitals to solve our health problems, not select different doctors. So I just remember which hospital is best for me instead of which doctor is suitable for me.

casualtrader, I also have a hospital that I prefer over the one that is 5 minutes away from my home. I travel 20 minutes to get to it. Myself and many of my friends have had bad experiences at the closer one. PEACE

We have been going to the same doctor for 18 years! We lived in a very small town and had to drive 20plus miles ... then we moved to a bigger town... where there many doctors to choose from... To this day we still drive the miles to see the same doctor!
