Since we have to buy a new vacuum cleaner, I was thinking about buying a Roomba because no one really likes to vacuum and my husband said th only way he is goingto do it is if we really splurge on a Dyson. I have a 25 off coupon for Linens & Things which brings down the price to close to what we would be paying for a new vacuum. Do you own a Roomba? Do you like it? We would be getting the older version that is Red.

Is that the lil robot vacuume ? haha i think those are neat, i dont have one, but if you think about it.. its round.. it wouldnt get under things and around things very well i assume.. i'd think you'd still need to clean with a regular vacuume some of the time. i would assume so anyways.

My parents have 3 friends with roombas and they all got rid of their vacuums because there is not need for it. We will see. If worse comes to worse I will buy one of those broom vacuum cleaners.

After wanting a Roomba for some time, I recently found an internet deal on a 510 model and picked it up. I couldn't be more happy with it! It's so awesome to be able to multi-task with cleaning. I can vaccuum, do laundry and go for a run all at the same time! It does a great job too. We have both area rugs and wood floors and the Roomba is great on both. We usually have it do 2 or 3 rooms at a time, before recharging it. We like it so much, we even named it. We call it "Pig". Pig has become a member of the family....the one who likes to clean the most.
