Does anyone know how we can figure out how much of a tax rebate we are getting?

I know whatever we figure out is not a set amount. I was just wondering (other than the number of kids) how you can get an idea of what you may be getting from the rebate. When are the check suppose to go out? Does it make a difference on when you filed your income taxes?

You can find how to calculate this information on the IRS site or some other sites out there. It looks like you have your answer. You must first file your tax return before you will receive the rebate. The sooner you file your tax return, then it depends on the last two digits of your ssn. People that are married or have children will get a higher amount than a single person.
