Across the Universe - a musical tribute to Beatles

Last Friday I was finally able to see Across the Universe, a movie musical featuring only "Beatles" songs. I've been a fan of musicals but this one is quite different,it has a unique take both visually and on the musical side. All Beatles fans out there would like the different versions of the classic Beatles songs. The actors/singers are good. Some audience actually clapped after the movie - Have you seen this movie? Did you enjoy seeing it?

I saw this movie and I loved it. I even went out and bought it over the weekend. This is definitely the only musical I could ever say that I have LOVED. It was nice that the cast was amazing, but not huge names. I'm surprised that I didn't hear more about it than I did, I almost missed out on it, but my mom told me that I had to see it.

I liked it. I thought it was a very good movie. And like you said a unique experience, especially visually. I'll have to rent it sometime for a second viewing. And if nothing else, it supports the notion that Lennon and McCarthy were the best songwriting team in the history of rock. Great music.
