have you ever started out to say something you really thought was pertinent to someone and in the middle of it you forgot what you were going to say? This happened to me recently and I felt like an idiot because I could not for the life of me remember what I was going to say. Then I felt scared as I am a senior citizen was I going bananas, or getting senile. I have always been pretty much on the ball mentally thank Goodness.

This has happened to me as well and I often also forget simple words as well. In the middle of a conversation you know what you want to say but you cannot for the life of you think of the word you want to use Must be a sign of age

Don't worry, you are not going bananas because I have had many moments of that kind of thing where I was going to say something then forgot what I was going to say... very frustrating, then it comes to you like hours later when the issue is no longer relevant.

Hi Hatley, it seems that you worry about about your health.I'm 28 years old and I sometimes forget things as you do.What you are going to say is the ideas of yours, idears are instant, it's not gold, cystal or diamond anyway. You may have new ideas and you can write some outlines on the note book if something is important.I hope you will not be so worried about your forgetting things.Be happy.

laughter is said to be good for you in a lot of ways and it sure does eliminate those feelings of depression a person can have at times.

Sure. Getting senile? Trust me, Patsie, it has nothing to do with "old age". It happens to me often "enough" too. I will just let it go but let it hover at the edge of my consciousness. Don't push too hard and it will come back to me.

Right you get uptight and then you are sunk for me sometimes it comes back in the middle of the night and I doubt if my friend would love being woke then to hear the rest of what I had started to say.lol

Thats it exactly and its really scary if you for a moment really forget your personal info. usually it is when you may be uptight about something too and I think that blocks your memory

Yeah I know that situation ... and usually it helps me to go back to the place where I caught idea to say something. Or also it is good when somebody who you are talking to is able to repeat last few words you said. Maybe you are thinking about too much things in the same time ...

don't thought so many about the result.Relax your self, imagine the word you wanna say ,is coming forth from your deep heart.Get the word in your mind be in your heart. The most important thing is to forget the result of forgetting, then you will get back gradually. RELAX yourself!

That is really good advice. Relaxing so many times helps me to remember everything that I wanted to say. thanks so much.
