I like the plants growing and changing before my eyes. I like how strong I get tending them. I love the fruits of my labor. And you?

The thing that I like about gardening is planting some orchids. Or some sort marcoting it, its the process of reproducing some plant without planting a seed on it.

That's neat. Orchids are beautiful. People just started growing them up here. I like stuff that comes back every year on its own like chives, rhubarb, etc. Wish everything did! Thanks and take care.

I haven't tried gardening yet because we don't have enough space here. But I love the thought of it and I think the thing I would like most about would be that I see the result after putting in my effort. I love the idea that I have actually grow something that has a life and contribute to nature.

I like the really, really freshness of it. The vitamins and minerals are all in the freshly picked stuff. You feel so much better after eating freshly picked food.

Yeah, that's good feeling to eat the fruits of our own labor, for one thing this will save us a lot of money ,on another this will also benifite for our health as they are more natural. When I am little girl ,my parents had grown a lot of plants around our garden. However,it is a pity that after two years we have to move out to a new block..then the we have to give up the plants we have planted..;-( Mollly:)

I love both wild flower, bulb and vegetable gardening. My flower gardens have a mix of bulb, wild flowers and other perennials that bloom through out the year. We have several different veggies in our garden and we expanded that last year and I am sure my husband will try that again LOL. We have our friends and family over who love to help us and experience gardening with us. e call it our friendship garden. It is so relaxing to come home from work go to the garden and see the new growth, tend to it, pick weeds and then pick fresh veggie for diner, cook and eat it, there is nothing better then that. It is so rewarding to see what we can do. I love the smells that a garden creates, the fresh flowers, the smell of fresh corn, the smell of a tomato plant mmmmmmmmm

The main thing I like about the gardening is getting the chance to see those things sprout in front of your eyes and give flowers and fruits as your children. What you said is absolutely true.

I think what I like most about gardening is the serenity...I am so calm and centred when I'm in the garden..Of course watching my veggies grow and taking care of them is a great feelign as well and then eating them is FABULOUS! I'm hoping that this yr we can get started on some of my flower gardens as well..and we're planning on adding to the veggie garden (making it larger) which will be nice :-D

I love the miracle of creating something from somthing else. I love to watch the seed turn into a plant and then back into a seed. I love to see my creations. I love garden fresh tomatoes. I love knowing that even when money is tight my garden will still have the food I am used to when I cant get to the store like I want.

This winter, when I couldn't go to the store because the weather was horrible out, I still could pick chives from my window sill, so I know what you mean. Take care and thanks for the response.

I like the fact that what I grow is grown from me. I know what was used to grow them, I know I didnt add chemicals to make them grow, I know that I tended to them and I will share my wealth once my crop is ready. Its the compliments on how wonderful my vegetables are that mean alot to me.

I get a work out. It also relaxes me. There isn't anything that I do not like about it. However I own a landscaping company and do plenty that I do not want to do. Isn't the reason why people call a landscaping company to do the work is because they let it get too bad to do it themselves? Because of this I am like the poison ivy ninja.

I love it! Poison Ivy Ninja, very cool use of Ninja Smiley face (is the Ninja smiling?). It is a terrific work out. Most people do landscaping here after they bull doze and build a home. Some to rip out what the last owner did and put their own thing into it. Take care.

My favourite bit is being able to eat veggies from the garden for the largest part of the year. There's nothing better to sitting down to a nice veggie meal & knowing that everything on your plate is the product of your own garden. You know exactly how it was produced, what went into it, and how it's been cared for. Being able to extend the veggie season with preserving methods like drying, bottling and making jams & pickles is great too. This morning I opened a jar of damson jam and the taste of sweet damsons took me back to the day last year when we harvested them. Happy gardening!

I love the feeling of the dirt between my fingers as I work my garden. I dig it by hand instead of tilling to plant my vegetables. I enjoy sitting out in the sun weeding, pruning, and watering my plants. I also enjoy what comes from it since it's productive and I eat it throughout the whole year. The smell of fresh ripened vegetables in my kitchen makes me appreciate what I have accomplished.
