Have you ever been in a boys home, girls home, or like boot camps?

I was in a girls home for 2 1/2 years. It was rough because I was about 16 hours away from family and I only saw my family three times in the time that Iwas there. I was at Victorious Valley Homes. It is in Sunset, SC. If you have never heard of Sunset it is probably because all they have is a post office. It is right as you leave Pickens, SC. Anyways I was just curious as to if anyone else has ever been to a place like this??
