its nice to hear that madonna will eventually be inducted into rock"s hall of fame.personally,i think she deserves the honour after coming out with successive hits over a long time.she happens to be one of the most consistent female singer in music circles in history,do you share my opinion?

Madonna deserves to be in a "music hall of fame" or even a "Pop Culture Hall of Fame", but when has she ever even claimed to play Rock music (in any of its sub-genres)? The Rock & Roll hall of fame is a sad and pathetic joke. At least two musicians were inducted against their will. Madonna's inclusion is just more proof that what Johnny Rotten said about his induction... "The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is a Piss Stain!"

I have to agree with the above statement. She is talented no doubt about that but she isn't Rock n Roll and therefor doesn't belong in a rock n roll hall of fame.

i happen to agree with you totally especially because she never claimed to play rock "n" roll and anyway i have never seen her as a rock star but a pop star but anyway what wont we see in this modernisation where everyone is craving for recognition?
