Champagne Corks and Snakes

Trolling around the internet I cam across a question that asked whether people were genuinely more likely to die from being hit by a champagne cork than from a snake bite. I have been fortunate enough to be hit several times by champagne corks (and sparkling wine corks too) but I have never tangled with a snake. Have you or do you know someone that has been bitten and lived to open their next bottle of champagne.

Interesting. I have never been hit by any champagne corks or bitten by snakes. I have handled many snakes and been aruond qute a few bottle of champagne when they were being open. We tend to be quite cautious when opening things like champagne since we know that they can do major harm.

LOL that does sound like a sticky situation. Can't say I have had the opportunity to handle corks and snakes at the same time.

I know why people might think that corks could be lethal. I have drunk some Snake Bite, but that's not the same thing.
