I have a "one Box" GPS,so I don't know much about the PDA version, but actual operation of GPS/SatNav software is simple.I take it you have an add-on aerial unit for the satellite signal that plugs in to the PDA?.Fix the Aerial unit somewhere it will have a good chance of receiving the satellite signal-the middle of the windscreen at the bottom seems to be a good spot, but some machines may need an extra aerial on the roof of the car to get the best signal. If it's all connected up ok,you start the software, and wait a little for the unit to fix it's position .The on screen map will show you where you are, then you're ready to go through the planning of your route using whatever Menus You have. Your software's company should have a website-they'd have tips on how to use it.Good Luck!

i have also a pocket pc with gps.. i have destinator pn4 installed which i normally use..
i have also installed mapking5.. (mapking seems to be funnier because you can change the car icon with a airplane, hahaha..)
both have easy interface and very easy to use..
anyway you can download the manual from the mapking website..
