I just wonder why a lot of people like to be a doctor,as we know to be a doctor is not easy. At least you have to spend about 8 years to complete it. And we are in the time that everything is so competitive, and not easy for a doctor to find a job. Do you know the reason?

The real reason is so that they can grope some fit girl that comes in with a problem lol..... I would say money/the respect and even in some cases doctors may be genuinely caring and want to help people and not just see it as a 9-5.

I admire anyone who wants to be a doctor. It takes a long time to qualify and requires a lot of dedication, long working hours and the ability to communicate with many different people. I think most doctors genuinely want to do some good and cure the sick and contribute to society. They will also gain a higher status as a professional, but I think this is not a real reason to want to become a doctor.

Money it is a very well paid profession. There was a time I would have said to help people but as gps don't want to be on call 24/7 and want to work 9-5. How many people can be conveniently ill in that period of time ffs.
