Newscast on tv or newspaper?

I always want to be updated on the latest issues and what is happening around. I read a lot of newspapers and watch news to keep me posted on the latest happenings. But because I'm personally attending to my very active toddler, reading newspaper has become a challenge. I watch news on tv more often to keep me posted. Which do you prefer for news updates reading newspapers or watching news on tv? Why?

I watch more TV news, but when I work I always enjoy being able to read the news paper if time allows. I often get local stories you do't always see on the TV news.

I read three newspapers everyday. I have to say, that is my favorite venue. I can read on my own watch. I watch the talk shows on CNN, MSNBC & FOX News. I also listen to all talk radio stations that play the news two times an hour. If I want to follow breaking news I will switch between various stations. Yahoo has current news as well.

Hi deea, Yup you have apoint there- only a few local stories are featured on tv news, so if we want more local news we should turn to local papers.

hello msmargo, I can say you cover both the newspapers and the tv as well. You can beat anyone on current events discussion. I read also newspapers when my baby is asleep, or at night when I'm not yet sleepy...that's the only time I can read a newspaper peacefully.

i like the news better ,because it seems to give you more recent news as it happens ,as the news paper is always at least a day behind the tv news cast

Hi there! I prefer watching news on television. That's because of the availability though. Here in our province, there isn't a nearby store selling newspapers. Anyway, maybe even if they are available, I might choose to just watch news on the television too since it's more interesting to watch the news rather than to read about it. It's better seeing live action on exclusive reports like personally witnessing the events.

Yes and we can do other things while watching news. Like in my case I watch tv while attending to my child.

Gees! You are correct in that...nowadays most anchors or newscasters are good looking.
